Cruises For Kids - Fun For The Whole Family

For a long time vacation cruises have been considered mainly for adults and couples, but the cruise lines of today are rapidly changing all of that. Today, virtually all of the major cruise lines make cruises available that would be fun and enjoyable by all in the family, including kids. They offer a little something for everyone, so there is no reason that anyone in the family would ever be bored on one of these floating vacations. Let see what cruises for kids has to offer for your family.

The cruise line activity list for kids varies from one cruise to another, but they often include fun activities like pizza parties, water slides, miniature golf, video arcades, lots of games, magic shows, sports, science projects, art classes, and a lot more. All of this is of course, in addition to the swimming pools and jacuzzis on board that kids just seem to love.

Basically, on cruises for kids there is plenty to keep them happy and involved for as long as they want to be. In fact, there are even shore excursions that are often arranged for certain age groups to help them have fun at the ports of call that the ship visits.

All of this fun can often free up parents to be able to actually enjoy their vacation time too without having to constantly come up with things to keep the kids busy and involved. That means more alone time for them in activities that appeal more to them, and each cruise line makes sure that there is plenty of adult fun to be had too.

Many cruise lines even offer both private and group babysitting as an alternative for parents whose children are at least six months old. But all of them that feature cruises with kids have age specific entertainment and programs where kids can get to know others their own age and make friends while under the constant supervision of trained professionals. And of course, parents can keep a watchful eye on their kids as often as they like to make sure that everything is going well.

So if you have tried all of the other vacation ideas or just want to experience something completely different why not consider cruises with kids that let you take your whole family with you and make sure that everyone will have plenty of fun and good times?

Five Free Ways to Build Traffic to Your Web Site

Send releases to free PR services. There are several services that will distribute your PR releases at no cost. Two that I like are PR Free (Prfree.com) and PR Leap (prleap.com). All you need to do to use these services is register and add your releases. They will check to make sure your releases are well written with no typos, etc., so make sure thry are “clean” before submitting them. Naturally, there are no guarantees that any of your releases will get picked up. But, if just one of them does get picked up by s large publication, you’re still way ahead of the game.

Join a newsgroup and start posting. Find and join a newsgroup (or groups) that matches the content of your web site. For example, if your site is all about travel to Costa Rica, find newsgroups about Costa Rica, Central America of just travel. Monitor these groups for a week and you’ll see what issues are being discussed the most. Then, you can start posting to the group with information that will be of interest to their members and that carry subtle references to your web site.

Find blogs you can post to. Search for blogs on the same subject as your web site — or at least related subjects. You can add posts or comments to these blogs periodically, again with subtle references to your web site.

Start your own blog. You can start a blog on the same subject as your web site. You can build a blog free at www.blogger. com. You will need to post to your blog on a regular basis to keep the content fresh. It doesn’t hurt to be controversial, either, as this tends to draw posts from others.

Add an RSS icon to your site. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a new way to get content on your web site automatically sent to “subscribers.” You will need to add an RSS icon (or button) to your site. People can then add a feed from your site to their RSS readers. To learn more about RSS and how to do this, I recommend you go to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(protocol) for more information. You might also want to download an RSS reader (www.rssreader.com) for your own use, so you can aggregate news from other web sites.

Like anything else worthwhile, getting free publicity for your web site takes time and effort, but you can’t beat the price.

Home Security Alarm Monitoring Services - Do You Need One?

Having a home security alarm system installed is a great step to take to help improve the security for your home and family. There are lots of choices to be made when selecting a security alarm system itself, but after selecting the appropriate alarm for your home, it’s a good idea to consider whether you want to have an outside service monitor your home alarm as well.

Oftentimes, security alarm companies offer this option along with the alarm system that they install, but if you decide to install the alarm yourself or have it installed by a local contractor, you will need to decide on taking this extra step and which company you would like to choose for a monitoring service.

The good news is that most monitoring services are very reasonable and affordable. In fact, you can get a monthly subscription to many monitoring services for $10 or even less per month. A lot of homeowners conclude that this is money well spent for the extra peace of mind that it affords.

So how does a monitoring service work?

Well, usually the alarm system is set up so that if the alarm is triggered, a phone call is made to the monitoring service automatically, where the personnel on duty call your home first and try to determine if a false alarm has sounded or if a real break-in has happened. This can save you money in case of an accidental triggering of the alarm.

If a break-in is in progress they then call the local law enforcement who can then get to your house quickly and investigate the matter. This kind of home protection is especially valuable when you are away from home as that is when most burglaries take place.

So which monitoring service should you choose? There is a wide variety of these services available and not all are as vigilant as you would like them to be. Our suggestion is to poll your neighbors, family, friends, and perhaps your real estate agent to see what recommendations they have for a reliable service that they know of. Quite often, you will begin to hear the same names come up in conversation, and that is the short list of companoies that you should investigate regarding the features they offer that you feel will be of most benefit to you.

It is not necessary to have an alarm monitoring service, but it is cheap insurance that does you one extra layer of protection in your home security plan.

Find Public Liability Insurance via the Internet

With the claims lifestyle increasing all around the planet, having possession of public liability cover is turning out to be more & more obligatory. If you do not at present have liability insurance included into your building insurance, then now is possibly the moment in time to look at acquiring enhanced insurance. Here is some recommendations about why you require cover, & what to pay attention to. Get a public liability insurance quote at http://www.insuredrisks.co.uk.

What is public liability cover: Professional Indemnity insurance is an insurance policy that protects you from claims that other people may perhaps make against you in the likelihood of an accident. If somebody damages their possessions or hurts themselves in or around your property or company then the public liability insurance will shield you for any expenses that might happen. Insurance generally ranges from ?250,000 up to one million pounds.

What are you insured against: Insurance will insure you for accidents or loss that other people may endure in or around your home or business premises. You are covered from claims from burglars on top of damages that might perhaps occur to somebody from falling items or individuals carrying out maintenance. If a disaster arises on your grounds & someone claims against you, your cover will help out to pay any costs.

What’s included A few contents or property insurance documents enclose in-built liability insurance. You should check with your insurance firm whether this is the case, and what degree of protection you get. Even if the insurance is integrated, you must verify that you are precisely protected for any specific accidents that may perhaps take place.

Payment: The payments that you pay depend on the sort of protection you buy. If you only insure your house, then the costs are very likely to be less than if you are wanting to cover a business. On the other hand, payments are fairly cheap for the level of protection that you get, & it is as a result critical for anyone running an organisation.

Living on a Cruise Ship Full Time

Have you ever dreamt about living on a Cruise Ship forever?

Traveling the world, seeing all kinds of exotic places, cruising forever with not a care in the world.

It is now a reality, and several possibilities exist.

1. The World of ResidenSea was launched in 2002 as a condominium-style residential community contained on a 644-foot cruise ship, complete with restaurants, a spa and fitness center and other amenities similar to what you’d find on a typical mid-size cruise liner.

As with land-based condo resorts, short-term rentals of a week or more may be arranged without committing to ownership, and a wide range of ports is included on The World’s ongoing circumnavigation of the globe.
Residensea has problems.

-disputes between owners of Condos on the ship and tourists.
Owners want to stay in exciting ports for several days, tourists that the ship needs to get full occupancy to cover the cost of unsold suites want to move from port to port every day.

Sales of actual condos on the ship have stalled due to fears of terrorism, uncertainty in financial markets and uncertainty about the future of the ship.

Annual maintenance costs run at $100,000 per suite while an actual suite now costs 1.9 to 4 million dollars.
This ad recently appeared on the Internet:

“Rent an outside luxury cabin
from $600 a day”
From somebody who owns 2 cabins on the ResidenSea.
That runs to $18,000 per month.

2. Join an organization that will buy a used Cruise Ship and convert it to Condos.

This concept has been tried and failed.

The practical problems were just too great.

-Trying to get enough people interested
-Trying to get commitments from people
-Trying to find a ship that was not going to fall apart immediately upon leaving the harbor
-Trying to get cash from people before a ship was bought.
And these were just problems BEFORE a ship was even bought.

Think about the problems there would be after the ship was bought.

3. Buy regular cruises on an on-going basis.

This seems the only practical way in which you can live permanently on a Cruise Ship.

Here are the estimated costs based on double occupancy starting on the cheap:

Basic Cruise Costs; $100 per day x 2 people = $6000 per month
This includes gratuities, all you can eat and port costs.

Independent costs of living for Seniors seems to be about $2000 per month per person = $4000
This includes food.

So for $2000 per month extra a couple can live on a Cruise Ship (or ships) forever.

The advantages of this type of living if you have that extra $24,000 per year to spend are these:

-Quality of the meals on a Cruise Ship is probably a lot better than what you would get in an independent living type of situation.

-You can vary cruise lines, use a Caribbean Cruise Line this month, an Alaska Line next month
and a European Line for the next 6 months.

-Shows every night.

-Built-in new friends every week or so. Most cruises end within 7 days and a new crop of potential friends arrives for you to interact with.

-An entire Cruise Staff to help you with ANYTHING if you have a problem.

So, if you want to live on a Cruise Ship: $24,000 a year is all it takes for 2 people.

J Shipper is very interested in living on a Cruise Ship forever and in traveling the world. Check out these sites for more information:

Well Yippie Skippy for the FTC?

The Federal Trade Commissions Consumer Protection Division now says that SPAM only accounts for 67% of the email you get instead of 70% to 80% and they are attempting to call this a victory? Although no one can confirm this as it is from a media source which accepted the Federal Trade Commission’s Public Relations “PR” piece, it seems that this is nothing to toot one’s horn over? The FTC says much of the reason for this is because SPAM filters in the private sector had gotten better? Yet I ask the question what does this have to do with the FTC’s work in the SPAM issue, as today we have to worry about IM.SantaGift.com; the famous Santa Virus Worm? Merry Christmas FTC, thanks for nothing.

The FTC citing a research data set from MXLogic said that SPAM was down over 9%; and again I say; “Well whoppie do? Yippie Skippy for the FTC hippie Team!” What a frigging joke? 9% is squat, you see since the FTC got onto the case they spent 6 months figuring out a definition for what SPAM was and it went up approximately 3000% judging from my email box. Is this our Federal Trade Commission at work? In their report to Congress I believe they not only misrepresented truth to further next year’s budget and make it look like they were doing something useful. I believe they should be disgorged from their ill-gotten gains of next year’s budget for deceiving the American People and the Consumer they claim they are protecting in the FTC’s consumer protection division, what a faade, a farce and complete hypocrisy? Give me a break! Think on that will you!

Debt Relief: Statute of Limitations

You frquently hear about the Statute of Limitations but what exactly is it and how does it apply to you? In short, the Statute of Limitations (as far as debt is concerned) is the amount of time a creditor has to sue you to receive what you owe them. Each state has its own time frame for a Statute of Limitation.

A definition from Law.com extensively defines the Statute of Limitations (SOL) as: “a law which sets the maximum period which one can wait before filing a lawsuit, depending on the type of case or claim. The periods vary by state. Federal statutes set the limitations for suits filed in federal courts. If the lawsuit or claim is not filed before the statutory deadline, the right to sue or make a claim is forever dead (barred).

“The types of cases and statute of limitations periods are broken down among: personal injury from negligence or intentional wrongdoing, property damage from negligence or intentional wrongdoing, breach of an oral contract, breach of a written contract, professional malpractice, libel, slander, fraud, trespass, a claim against a governmental entity (usually a short time), and some other variations….

“The limitations (depending on the state) generally range from 1 to 6 years except for in Rhode Island, which uses 10 years for several causes of action. Louisiana has the strictest limitations, cutting off lawsuit rights at one year for almost all types of cases except contracts. California also has short periods, usually one year, with two years for most property damage and oral contracts and four years for written contracts.

“There are also statutes of limitations to enforce a judgment, ranging from five to 25 years, depending on the state. Some states have special requirements before a lawsuit can be filed, such as a written warning to a physician in a claim of malpractice, making a demand upon a state agency and then waiting for the claim to be denied or ignored for a particular period, first demanding a retraction before filing a libel suit, and other variations. Vermont protects its ski resorts by allowing only one year for filing a lawsuit for injuries suffered in a skiing accident as an exception to that state’s three-year statute of limitations for other personal injuries.”

To determine the debt Statute of Limitation (SOL) for your particular state, I recommend visiting one of several sites.

1. Carreon and Associates

2. Fair Debt Collection.com

3. Nolo Press

According to Nolo Press:

“In most situations the time starts to run on the ‘date of harm.’ However, a huge exception to this general rule exists. The exception protects plaintiffs in situations where they may not be aware for months or even years that they have been harmed. In such situations, statutes of limitations may begin the clock ticking either on the ‘date of discovery’ of the harm, or on the date on which the plaintiff ’should have discovered’ the harm….”

With reference to Statute of Limitations in general with regards to military personnel, Military.com states: “A member’s time in service cannot be used to compute the time limits for bringing any action or proceeding by or against a member, whether in court or elsewhere.”

Fair Debt Collection provides this extremely important warning: “While the statute of limitations is running or even after it’s expired, making ANY payment or signing a promissory note can reset or restart (depends on your state law) the statute of limitations. Always check if the SOL has expired BEFORE making a payment, signing an agreement to make payments or even acknowledging the debt is valid!”

Debt Reduction Tools

Those who are in debt need a mechanism or tools to help them get out of it. Debt reduction tools are ways to make the burden less. The best reduction tool is the concept of planning for the future and your expenditure. There are also many financial debt consultants, who can make the repayment of your debt easier. These consultants can negotiate to get the tenures extended or get you further loans to pay back the existing loan. At times this strategy can help and at times, this may also backfire.

The concept of budgeting is very old. Budget means to map out the incomes, expenditures and any unforeseen expenditure that you might have. Therefore when you look at the monthly incomings and outgoings, you would find that budgeting can be used as a debt reduction tool, which is very beneficial. Write down the incomes, that you receive from all sources and then write all the expenditure down. In case you have expenditure more than income, then you would be going in for debt. If the reverse is true, then you have a saving. By reducing the debt, you are freeing up financial resources, which can be utilized for investments, and saving purposes.

Another debt reduction tool is to repay back all the debts. However this is not possible. Debts are small term, medium term and long term debts, which varied tenures and interest rates. Classify the debts according to this classification, this is the first step to start. By paying off the smallest loan first and you are already utilizing the tools for debt reduction yourself. Talk to the banks and see if they are ready to negotiate for lower interest rates. Many a times, banks will negotiate for a lower interest rates and this means that there is a debt reduction for you.

What is Debt Consolidation?

Debt consolidation what is it? It is a process by which credit counseling copanies can negotiate with your creditors to obtain the lowest monthly obligation they can needed to satisfy all of your current credit card accounts.

So what you would do is pay a one low monthly to the debt consolidation company, in turn they then portion out that payment to your creditors for you. This monthly payment will in most cases be lower than the sum of your individual account obligations that you have now.

Our credit counseling web site is designed to help you in take charge of your credit card debt.

Most Creditors will recognize that people who enter a debt consolidation program are trying to repay the debt they have in good faith. Creditors will be more willing to extend favorable terms to such clients in the hope that they can avoid the significant expense of turning the account over to their collections department or avoid an extended drawn out process if the account holder decides to goes through the expense of declaring bankruptcy.

Most debt consolidation companies only deal with unsecured debt which is when a creditor holds no collateral. For example, an unsecured debt is usually in the form of: credit cards, department store cards, medical bills, and gas cards. No form of collateral such as a home or car was utilized to secure the “loan” for services rendered or goods received. With a secured loan, and as a precaution against “default” (non payment) what is used as “collateral” for the loan could be liquidated

This is not a loan, so no credit checks are needed. Debt Consolidation is confidential and discreet, so there’s no need to worry about employment, reference verification or credit history assessment. This can be accomplished from the comfort and privacy of your home, so there’s no need to worry about transportation, sitter arrangements, time away from work or embarrassing face-to-face consultations.
